Several crews will be picking up debris in the City. The contractor is not allowed to get on private property unless a release is signed. If not signed in time for the first pick-up there will be several passes through the City to pick up all the debris. The City gradeall is available to help to move debris closer to the ditch. All debris has been required to be put behind the ditch because of the possibility of flooding which would occur if all the City ditches were full of debris.
The contractor is doing the best they can; however, these are not City contractors. The debris clean-up is being contracted by the County with a company called Ashbritt.
The release form is available at City Hall, through City personnel, or downloaded from this website on the Public Notices page. Thank you for your understanding.
